Join the City of Miramichi & Greater Miramichi Region PRACs!

The Greater Miramichi Service Commission is looking for community members to join our new Planning Review and Adjustment Committees (PRACs) for the City of Miramichi and the surrounding Greater Miramichi Region. This is a volunteer position with compensation for your time.

What you’ll do:

-Review development applications: provide input on proposals for new buildings or changes in land use to ensure they fit the community’s character and vision.
-Advise on land use (zoning): help decide the best use for different areas; such as where roads, housing, businesses, parks, or industries should go.
-Support community planning and policy: contribute to policies that will guide community growth in ways that meet both current needs and future goals.
-Make an impact on local development: your role will directly shape how the community looks, feels, and functions for years to come.

No experience needed, we’ll provide training! This is a great opportunity for anyone who cares about the future of their community and wants to make a positive impact.
