The New Brunswick IEHP Navigation Service provides free, profession-specific, client-centred support to Internationally Educated Health Professionals. We share updates on new programs, licensure changes, and current opportunities for licensed physicians here.
To practise in New Brunswick, ensure eligibility with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of New Brunswick. Other pathways may be available depending on your specialty, including the PRA (Practice Readiness Assessment)and the Clinical Assistant role.

The New Brunswick IEHP Navigation Service provides free, profession-specific, client-centred support to Internationally Educated Nurses (IENs). We guide candidates through the National Nursing Assessment Service (NNAS), provincial entry-to-practice competency assessments, local bridging programs, and regulatory bodies.
In June 2023, the province launched a five-year initiative to reduce financial barriers for IENs. To be eligible, candidates must:

Be accepted for immigration to New Brunswick,

Have an employment offer (or already be working) in the healthcare field,

Be licensed as a nurse in their country of education,

Be pursuing licensure/registration in New Brunswick.
Note: Candidates educated in Zone 3 or Zone 4 countries require a letter of support from a New Brunswick healthcare employer for 600 hours of supervised clinical experience.
